As we draw closer to the official start of the tennis season, I feel myself feeling a bit nostalgic. I'm grateful that I've had the opportunity to keep in touch with so many people since our middle school days. We may not walk down the same path any longer, but our stories in some form remain interconnected, even if not as we had anticipated back then.
Amazing to think that it all stems from a mutual love of a sport.
[ And with this nostalgia comes a desire to connect. I propose that we have a get together. A sleepover, even. I would be happy to host it. I was thinking good food, comfortable pajamas, andgossip the opportunity to catch up. What do you think? ]
Also, while I'm thinking about it. Genichirou - has anyone announced plans for your birthday?
[ooc; this is a welcome invitation to anyone who was a captain in any sort of capacity during middle/high school years.]

I don't deserve-Thank you Kippei-kun. I think highly of you as well.

Of course. Thank you in return. That is the greatest compliment.

It truly is. That's what makes us great leaders.

I've often thought about that myself. I don't think it would have been quite as disastrous as you would think. I've often wondered about something like... Keigo coming to Fudoumine. I feel like he would have quickly gained the trust of my team very quickly with his dedication to working hard to achieve his goals. How about for Shitenhouji?

Hmm. My team had full of quirks so someone used to different personalities and someone with some sense of humor would have been ideal.
Minami-kun, perhaps?

Kentarou... I can see it. There are many similarities in the values of Yamabuki and Shitenhouji. If he could stand to be away from the ocean for a little while, the younger Kentarou would have been a good fit, too.

It is a shame. On the other hand, there many teams down there that we never had the chance to play that I would have loved to. Granted, I was fortunate to be able to early on, but afterward.

Though I am genuinely glad we faced off against Fudoumine.

It did. On the flip side, it did mean that the schools in Kantou didn't have the opportunity to see our strengths either until Nationals.
As am I. Who knows if I would have the relationship I do now with Senri were it not for that.
