As we draw closer to the official start of the tennis season, I feel myself feeling a bit nostalgic. I'm grateful that I've had the opportunity to keep in touch with so many people since our middle school days. We may not walk down the same path any longer, but our stories in some form remain interconnected, even if not as we had anticipated back then.

Amazing to think that it all stems from a mutual love of a sport.

[ And with this nostalgia comes a desire to connect. I propose that we have a get together. A sleepover, even. I would be happy to host it. I was thinking good food, comfortable pajamas, and gossip the opportunity to catch up. What do you think? ]

Also, while I'm thinking about it. Genichirou - has anyone announced plans for your birthday?

Thank you, Akira. Isn't it? I quite agree. It brings to light that such things can happen at any stage of life - it's not limited to just that of youth.

As expected of Tachibana-san. I think it might be nice to have a Fudomine gathering. I know there's not that many of us, but it could be fun. Though, we've all kept in touch over the years, so it might not be that much of a gathering. I'd suggest tennis, but I don't play that much anymore. Only on the street courts if I have time.

I think that's an excellent idea. After I've planned this gathering for the captains, I would be happy to put something together for the old team. We may still keep in touch, but that doesn't mean there wouldn't still be plenty to talk about were we to get together.

Maybe something other than tennis. Perhaps bowling?
